Comprehensive User Training

GWA provides user training on the use of office applications, as well as customer proprietary applications. GWA has provided comprehensive user training to the Department of Justice (DOJ) on the use of various proprietary user tracking systems, case management systems, and statistical management programs. GWA has implemented programs that include not only training implementation but also course materials development, production, and shipping, and Elearning.

GWA’s comprehensive user training includes experienced and educated trainers to increase user retention and reduce the need for retraining, a train-the-trainer program, a variety of training models, and classroom material. This classroom material includes user manuals, instructor manuals, class handouts, computer based training (CBT), quick reference guides and documentation to enhance the training offered to the students. Our training models include local training and field training support. Our formal classroom instruction to class sizes ranging from 15-20 students in a hands-on classroom environment. In most cases, formal classroom instruction involves 2 trainers, with one trainer instructing and the other trainer providing training support, guiding users, and answering application questions. Additionally, we provide field training support (FTS), or “in-group” training. To support field training, we establish mobile classrooms based upon the need of the training. We also facilitate the production, printing and shipment of the application courseware to field offices scheduled for training. Our trained technical training specialists provide the necessary expertise to setup and dismantle the equipment in the field, minimizing the risk that may be caused by improperly maintained equipment or shipping.

In this rapidly changing climate, training takes on an even greater importance. Rapidly disseminating large amounts of information to a geographically and technologically diverse population can be a daunting task.
